GHSGT and GHSWT
Individuals who have already left school and are eligible may present themselves for testing or re-testing. Re-test students should pre-register in advance of test administration so that the Test Coordinator will know how many and what form of the re-test materials to order. Register at least 4 months in advance of the next test administration. Please check system test calendar for the next testing window.
Testing measures student achievement of the state mandated curriculum, to identify students failing to achieve mastery of content, to provide teachers with diagnostic information, and to assist school systems in identifying strengths and weaknesses in order to establish priorities in planning educational programs.
The assessment program includes customized criterion-referenced tests at the elementary, middle, and high school levels; Assessment and a norm-referenced test. These mandatory state assessments include the Criterion-Referenced Competency Tests (CRCT), End-of-Course Tests (EOCT), Georgia High School Graduation Tests (GHSGT), and Georgia Writing Assessments.
